I'm just gonna keep saying it: you can make a deadline deal - even two or three - without trading a top prospect. Even at the top of the market if it's a pending free agent or someone with a lot of $ attached.
They are obviously going to get a starting pitcher, and probably it won't be at the top of the market They don't have to get a reliever, given you have Coonrod and also one of your starters would have to move to the bullpen (and definitely would in the playoffs). Unless Eflin doesn't come back that is. In any case, they need a starter.
And the need for a better 3B or SS option seems to have gone away, which is great.
The obvious other need is a CF who is better than Herrera, either defensively or in general. Beyond that I think they might just need to start sitting Castellanos 2-3 games a week once Harper comes back (assuming Harper won't really ever play RF), just to upgrade that spot either offensively (with a LHB) or defensively (with anyone).
It's more that the parts don't quite fit than that they need to make a big change. The dramatic moves would be to actually get Herrera or Didi off the roster, in addition to trying to get more out of Castellanos' spot when sticking with him - which I have certainly been in favor of - doesn't do it.
If Harper actually can play RF come September that will also help though I don't know that we can expect him to play it that well, and would also be risky potentially.
Would be nice to make a move over the weekend or Monday to actually get the new line-up out there in Atlanta, though more likely things go down to the wire.
