Most pitchers come back from JT. It's shoulders that I worry about. I think Abel and Painter are both very good picks -- they are the kind of risks you need to take if you want a good pitching staff. Both clearly have the talent to be good MLB pitchers. It's now down mainly to keeping them healthy and also to development. I will take that any day in a first rounder. Too many of our first round position player first rounders have been guys whose success depended upon a lot of development going right, because they had big holes in their game. And, we've learned that our top position prospects can also wash out due to injury. The way the Phillies have drafted recently, I'm not even convinced that a H.S. RHP, although traditionally the riskiest demographic, is actually riskier than the typical Phillies first rounder.
