If I have included guys who are no longer in the organization, please point that out. They are also probably a couple players too many because a couple guys will open on the DL. Though I try not to list 40 guys for a 25 man roster.

Biggest question for me is looking at that rotation and thinking all of the pitchers 3-6 might end up in the bullpen with the question being whether we should move some of them there since EDLS or Damon Jones are easily the type of player that might have stuff that plays up in shorter outings. We need to see Jones in short outings to see if that is true.

Nick Williams?

I don't imagine Herrera, Sczcur and Mahtook will all remain in the organization. Even if Herrera is released not sure both of the latter two stick around (unless one of them makes the MLB roster).

One of Walker and Harrison could also easily be in AAA, depending everything shakes out.

Gosselin probably figures somewhere in the infield/utility role. Canelo and Gomez are probably not good enough to merit more than half the playing time up the middle.

Probably too many OF on that roster though Odubel is admittedly a wild card who could be anywhere in the system.

Canelo is gone - signed as free agent with the Orioles. I think Gomez and Stephen start in AA. Even though Gamboa didn't hit well at AA, I think he gets pushed to AAA as the starting shortstop. I also think Luke Williams goes to AAA to start the year.

Didn't the Phillies retain Pujols? He should be back from his achilles injury.

Brown, Windle and Davis are make Lehigh or waiver wire at their age.

Parkinson should start at Reading and it looks like Romero might be in the pen.
Russo doesn't strike me as a BP guy, same with Eastman.
I think Listi is ahead of Hall in the organization's eyes.

Anybody think it's possible Gamboa doesn't stick on the 40? Seems like they are going to have to add two position players (both infielders) as well as pitchers, though of course there are other ways to get there (plus injuries).

New Assistant Pitching Coordinator Travis Hergert from Juco in Iowa and his reputation for polishing the diamond in the rough. Phils sure could use more of that.

It does sound like they're really serious about focusing on player development, given the moves of the last two seasons, and not just shuffling "good ole boys" around to give them jobs. A couple decades later, but better than never.

Kroon didn't do much at Clearwater, not sure he'll get promoted, or Stokes for that matter.
I expect Luke Williams to be in Lehigh after a full season at Reading, and Miller to be the 3B.
Guthrie should also be promoted from Clearwater.

I expect Seabold to be in Lehigh after his strong showing in the AFL, given his age.
Parkinson, Medina, Falter and Llovera should repeat.
Eastman was promoted last season but no room at the Lehigh inn?
Julian Garcia struggled after his promotion to Reading last year but could stick in the rotation.
I have no idea what Ethan Evanko throws, but he dominated at Clearwater last year and is 24, so might get promoted as an "up or out" player.
Glogoski also dominated at Clearwater, but at 21 they may feel no need to rush him.

Definitely agree on Dalton Guthrie. I just flat out forgot him. He's at Reading for sure (perhaps at Stokes expense).

I see Requena repeating at Clearwater, and Andrew Brown is a rotation possibility.
MacArthur was moved to the rotation when he got promoted and looked good in 7 starts

Lehman is a darkhorse, older (24) but big 6'8 240, who finished strong in Lakewood.

This is the team that the Phillies desperately need to hit in friendly Reading - there are a number of guys that were at one point thought of at least as real prospects. I’m not optimistic, but if any two or more of Brito, Vierling, Ortiz, Gamboa or Duran could put up prospect type numbers the system will avoid complete collapse next year. If none of them do, there will be no significant MLB position player help on the way after Bohm until probably 2022-3 at the earliest.

I'll be interested to see what kind of stuff Pipkin shows up with. Last year he looked like a guy with the projectability to get into the mid-90s.

I would think Ben Brown won't be back until mid-season.
