This the same Pompey who reported inside of two weeks that Thybulle was eligible soon for a $186 million dollar extension (hahahaha), that Harden was and was not picking up his option, that the Sixers were thinking of declining Shake Milton's tiny option (ridiculous), and gave three different mis-reportings of the Sixers' cap and Apron situations, and did not understand how the new TV deal would change the financial landscape.

You really can't trust his NBA reporting. I'd prefer a blogger.

Sixers looking at adding Eric Gordon and PJ Tucker makes sense if you're keeping a coach like Doc...I suppose they do make the bench stronger.

Woj and Bodner both reported today that the Sixers ARE looking to possibly move Thybulle and whatever they pick at #23, but not for cap relief; they want a significant asset in return (that they may again move for an impact veteran).

Unless they trade Harris for a lot of cap space they cannot sign both PJ Tucker and Eric Gordon, and that Harris trade would have to be carefully constructed to open up that much space.

What's frustrating is that they could have traded him to the Nets and kept Drummond (and maybe even a pick as well), perhaps making the playoffs different. And the same again if they'd pulled the trigger on trading Simmons in 2021 though I think that time it also would have cost them Maxey.
