Most teams had 2 series that were cancelled. One got added onto the end of the year. The second gets made up in random doubleheaders and off days. That series is usually in the division so there are more opportunities.
I am not sure the original schedule, but it is possible this was supposed to be a 3-game series with an off day Thursday.
