Video Autoplay Settings

In the new political thread a video was posted and now every time I enter the thread, the video automatically plays even though it is several posts back in the thread. I could not find anyplace in my personal settings to shut off autoplay. Is it possible to do that?

Not that I can find. I've edited the post - linked to the Tweet that contained the embedded video, rather than the video itself. It's probably a good idea that we not embed autoplaying videos in threads - it can be a real nuisance.
