So, I am (obviously) not a Miami Dolphins Fan or an Alabama Fan, but it is hard not to like this. This is Tua Tagovailoa after the first game he saw action, completing 2 passes in mop up duty in a blow out win. Most football fans know his story, he was on his way to a great season and a certain Heisman, when he had a horrific leg injury that almost cost him his career. He fell a little bit in the draft as he surely would have been 1 or 2, but still stayed in the top 10 but it was considered likely that he would miss this season. He didnt, he declared himself ready last week to the coaching staff.
Apparently, after the game he went back out to the field, sat down where he threw the first ball and called his parents to thank them for all the support they gave him in his rehab.
Kinda hard not to like this "kid" and respect that he realizes what a special moment he had.
