It takes two to tango, and a lot depends on how the board breaks, I'm sure Briere will talk to everyone, but trading into the top of the draft, even the top 10, is a rare event.
It's far more likely that he'll package players (he's probably going to move one of his LHDs at some point) and picks to move up with his later 1st rd/early 2nd rd picks. But if the board breaks wrong, he might trade into 2026 rather than take someone they don't really want that high.
