The attention is on the Combine b/c it's the only time you'll get true height measurements on these guys, the list roster heights of NHL players are often inflated.
Weights are trickier, gives you more of a sense who is already physically mature, but you still have to guess on their bodies at age 22.
Not sure you learn that much from interviews, other than who is dumb as a rock or antisocial.
I think Flyers have a good sense of who'll they'll take at #6, probably one of Martone, Frondell, Hagens or Desnoyers.
Trading up from #22 with either another pick or a current player is a real possibility, so is trading up from #32
Some combos off a NHL trade chart:
'#22 + #40 - #15
'#32 + #48 - #24
'#40 + #45 - #27
I think one of York/Andrae/Zamula may be dangled at the draft. They have too many undersized LHDs.
Wouldn't surprise me if Hathaway or Poehling would be made available for the right deal.
Risto probably won't be available to TDL b/c of injury, they'd be selling low.
Seeler has NTC until next summer, but might waive to go to a top team
Briere is probably preparing for every possibility, once the draft starts, he'll be on the clock.
