I figured out the problem. I need to have an empty line before the hide details tag.

I tried using the hide details tag in my minor league games thread, and it doesn't work right. I've included an example that doesn't work.

Lakewood BlueClaws (1-0) @ Kannapolis Intimidators (0-1) 7:05 pm | Gameday
JoJo Romero (0-0, -.--) vs. Jimmy Lambert (0-0, -.--)

Notable

Daniel Brito 2-5, R, 2 K
Arquimedes Gamboa 2-5, 2 R
Mickey Moniak 2-5, 2 R, K
Darick Hall 2-4, RBI
Lucas Williams 2-5, R, 2 RBI
Cord Sandberg 2-4, R, RBI, 2B
JoJo Romero 4.0 IP, 8H, 4R, 4ER, 0BB, 5K, game score: 41
Zach Morris 2.1 IP, 1H, 0R, 0ER, 0BB, 2K

What is wrong here is that the notable stats are not hidden in the Notable opener. What am I doing wrong here?

kikutaro - What I find surprising is that the coding enclosed in brackets [ ] is working at all, since Discourse in general uses Markdown, rather than bbcodes per se. But... it's working, which means "It ain't broke!"... and as long as it ain't broke, "It don't need fixin'!"

Suggests I need to do some more research about just what this environment will (and will not) support, though.

The "hide details" thing is cool.

I didn't know about the tag, I was just playing with the edit icons, and the last one was the Option icon, with a "Hide Details" button. I tried it, and it worked great in the preview, but not so great when I submitted the post. I've wanted to add notable results in the past, but didn't because I thought some people would prefer not to see it, but with the hide details, I wanted to try it out.
