I am all for trading for Kawhi, but not if it's a rental (as it sounds like it is unless he's traded to an LA team).

I think the current team is built to sign a significant FA rather than to keep building through the draft. However, if Lebron or Paul George aren't willing to sign, then I am all for moving up into the top-5 as long as Doncic or Jaren Jackson are the pick. As much as I like Doncic, Jaren Jackson may be the better fit with the current roster.

I am fine moving up to #7 for Michael Porter or Trae Young (both players have major question marks, which is why I'm not willing to move into the top-5 for them).

52 wins in their first season outside of the rebuild is impressive and frankly doesn't happen if BC doesn't make the low impact moves he made(Redick and the two buy-outs)

BC through those moves took a .500 team and made them a 52 win team. With that, I'm still happy he's gone but that part cant be ignored. He added those 3 players and gave up zero assets.

I don't believe that for one second. The biggest change in the Sixers was Embiid. Night and day when he was on and off the court this season. Second biggest change was a healthy Simmons. Yes, the minor signings helped -- any GM would have acquired some supporting pieces. The big thing BC did, the trade up in the draft seems a bust. I have seen comments in the press that Fultz did not impress at all in his tryout with Sixers, but that BC was determined to plow ahead and did so. BAAAD trade with Boston. BAAAD choice at the 1.1.

Redick wasn't a minor signing and was on a 1 year contract. The two buy-out also gave the team shooting and veteran leadership they didn't have prior. You saw the impact in the first round of the playoffs.

You calling Fultz seemingly a bust is a meme to fit a narrative. You and I have no idea how the fultz trade works out but if you are using it to make your argument today, then go for it.

Not sure where to put this as he seems like an awful fit with Embiid, but Mo Bamba has reworked his shooting form and it looks pretty good. He was already a top 5-10 pick, so I'm not sure how much further he could go up, but I have to think an outside shot to go with his great defense should entice someone.

I think he’d be great on the Sixers - could play stretch 4 with Embiid and the 5 when Embiid is out. No one would score. Ever.
