they are now 6-4...it was game #24 last year before they won their 6th game.

Embid must like playing in LA. 32 points and 16 rebounds vs. the Clippers, and getting DeAndre Jordan to foul out, then putting up 46 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 blocks vs. the Lakers last night. Looks like he might be getting himself in basketball shape finally. Look out league!

I watched the game and Embiid is so hard to defend.

As noted by Derek Bodner of The Athletic, when Embiid’s on the court, the Sixers outscore their opponents by a Warriors-esque 11 points per 100 possessions, and when he’s not on it, they get outscored by 11.8 points-per-100, a mark more in line with what the putrid Bulls have put together this season. He gets better seemingly every time he takes the court, improving in great, Euro-stepping leaps that leave us baffled, mesmerized and wondering just what the hell this guy’s ceiling might be … if it even exists.

Which is why I am so surprised that the Sixers haven't made a herculean effort to make something of JAH as a center, when Embiid isn't on the court. It is beyond obvious that the other alternatives aren't working.

I'm not a huge basketball guy, I happened to keep the game on my phone last night via ESPN app as I was working late. Embiid/Simmons combo is fun, like real fun, to watch. And, they have a huge upside. But, I agree. I don't see why Okafor doesn't get regular minutes as a (primary) back up at the 5 position? Even if he is a defensive liability, I thought he was supposed to be gifted offensively?

I can't express how happy I am we avoided this crazy freight train. Maybe his son will turn into a solid player (likely) but there is no way he is worth it.

Sixers are 11-7 and seem to be getting better.

They play the Cavs tonight so that should be fun!
