PHILLIES NAME FOURNIER STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COORDINATOR
The Phillies have named Paul Fournier the major league strength and conditioning coordinator, the club announced today.
Fournier, 44, completed his first two years with the Phillies, serving in the same capacity for the organization’s minor league system. Prior to joining the Phillies, he spent nine years with the Florida Marlins on the major league training staff and six years with the Montreal Expos as the coordinator of athletic training and conditioning for all of their minor league players.
Fournier replaces Dong Lien, who spent six years on the Phillies major league training staff and has been offered another position within the organization.
