Its 100% dinger. Theres plenty of clips showing the guy pointing at the mascot. I can see how it sounds like the other word, but the context makes it clear. No one else reacted as you would expect if it had been the racial epithet, neither the fans around him or the players. I think once you listen to the clip expecting to hear a certain word your mind fills in the blanks.
