[size=150] PHILLIES ANNOUNCE SPRING TRAINING BROADCASTS [/size]
A total of 26 Phillies spring training games will be broadcast from Clearwater, Fla., Rob Brooks, Manager, Broadcasting, announced today. Four will be televised and 26 will be split between the radio and internet.
WPHT 1210 AM will broadcast 12 games starting with the 1:05 p.m. February 27 game against the Cincinnati Reds at Bright House Networks Field. The other 10 radio broadcasts will be on phillies.com, the most games the Phillies have ever broadcast on the internet.
Comcast SportsNet (CSN) will televise two spring training games from Florida. The first one will be on Sunday, March 17, St. Patrick’s Day, against Cleveland and the other will be on Saturday, March 22 against Detroit. CW Philly 57 will also have a pair of games, Saturday, March 1 against the New York Yankees and Sunday, March 23, versus Toronto. All four televised games have starts times of 1:05 p.m.
WPHT 1210 AM will also broadcast the two On-Deck Series games against Toronto from Citizens Bank Park, March 28-29, and the Sunday, March 30, game against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the first-ever game in Coca-Cola Park, home of the Phillies’ triple-A team.
CSN will carry the March 29 On-Deck Series day game and CW Philly 57 will televise the March 30 game against Lehigh Valley.
