Just to be precise here, a second Trump administration could not eliminate mifepristone and misoprostol. They might make it illegal to mail them (but UPS?). They might even, with a cooperative Congress, make it illegal to possess or use them.
On the other hand, US administrations have tried that with marijuana, with cocaine... etc. Outlawing things doesn't eliminate them, if people want/need them strongly enough. What a "ban" does do is create a black market, and an opportunity for organized crime.
There were millions of abortions nationally before Roe v. Wade, and that was without any access to the then non-existent medicinal abortifacients. I hope that the people at Heritage don't really think they can somehow put this genie back in the bottle. It doesn't work that way - especially since a lot of other countries will continue to produce and utilize these products.
I suppose, if they try hard enough, the MAGAs can drag the United States back into the medieval era. The effect, though, would be that the US begins to look more and more like a banana republic - a third-world country, with a small, very wealthy elite and a massive exploited underclass. Unlike Central American banana republics of the 20th century, though, there won't be any big, bad Uncle Sam to intervene when the natives get fed up and rise up against the elite.
