Was this start time moved at some point (to accomodate tomorrow's trip to W'port perhaps)?

Hitless game through three on both sides I believe, Phils got going in the 4th without a run and now unfortunately the Nats have taken a 1-0 lead. Double, single, still not outs.

McCarthy and Davis were talking about how happy the Phillies must be with the Sanchez-Mead trade. Which, sure, fine, but they clearly have on clue how bad it has looked up until this point.

Double-Single-Double in the bottom of the fourth make it 2-0 Nationals.

Phillies have two hits and two walks in the first four, but no runs.

Phillies have lost 4 of the last 5 games. Definitely a down string.

Need to win today, but so far, not inspiring.

A dilemma in two Matt tweets. So long as Bryce needs his DH days Schwarber has to take the field (and we probably wouldn't want him to play 1B any more than LF).

Schwarber playing LF cost them 1-2 runs that inning.

Schwarber currently has a .370 OBP over the last 30 days, despite a .151 batting average. Which is 2nd on the Phillies over that time (though Marsh who is #1 is in a small sample). Also for the "clutch" lovers he is 1st on the team in RBI in that time period. https://t.co/utoCh7AWF8

Announcers also noting that the teams get an extra position player tomorrow for Willliamsport which will likely be Marsh (with a move to follow Monday).

And Jake Cave is the player of the week, would be nice to see them wake up offensively here. Of course the bats showed up for a while last night but...

Turning point probably the pathetic at bat by Turner. Two on, one out, he swings at two outside pitches and then takes a 1-2 pitch just outside and is called out. The called strike was clearly closer to the strike zone than the two he swung at.

The hits by Harper, Castellanos, and Realmuto.

One big bounce grounder to Turner results in a runner on first as Turner triple clutches and throws the ball short to first. Cave unable to come up with the ball. Error Turner.

Two singles make it a 3-0 game.

All falling apart now, after the announcers spent time congratulating Thomson for giving Sanchez the chance to go longer. Not his fault but ugh.

He does get out of the inning.

Sanchez gives up 3 runs in the first six innings on 7 hits, no walks, and 5 Ks. Only 2 of the 3 runs were earned. Not a bad day for the 5th starter.

If only Castellanos can get a run in here in the 7th. Nationals bring RHP in to face him, runners first and third and two outs.

UPDATE: Castellanos hits 3 -run home run. Game tied 3-3 going into the bottom of 7th.

Well, it wasn't pitching per se but Seranthony messed up. Bunt, ill-advised throw to first, two-base error. Man on third no outs.

Dominguez fields one out bunt and throws wildly toward first. Runner ends up on third base.

Single and error 1.

And now Seranthony seems a bit rattled. Falls behind 2-0.

They catch a break. Short fly ball, runner stays at 3B even with Schwarber making the throw.

Schwarb able to handle a long, arcing fly ball from Thomas at the fence. Was sticking out of his glove a little. Exhale.

Redemption for Trea in DC! lead-off homer.

Turner takes two pitches outside for balls. Same location he swung at in his last at bat. Then they come inside to try to get a strike, and Turner hits it out.

Not swinging at balls makes for better resulrs.
