Too bad they didn't sign Freddy in the first place, then there would be money to spend.

I don't know how they make all the parts fit together but I assume we'll occasionally see Torreyes and Galvis together on the left side (if only late) and Luke Williams goes back to AAA. But that still makes CF kind of an issue

Great move in my mind. DD acquired a starting pitcher [Gibson] who throws ground balls and just acquired an infielder who catches ground balls. What's not to like? And if memory serves me, more than one poster on this board suggested Galvis would have been a better get than Didi originally.

I was always interested in Freddy in the offseason. Partially because the cost was low and would allow us some money to do something else, but also because our defense in non-technical terms, kinda sucks.
