Philaphans has been down for some time and I tweeted Belmont Shore but got no response even tho he has continued to tweet.
Any word on the site? Is it gone for good?

On a similar note, I know that when backshegoes closed down about a year ago after its owners proverbially got out of the business of running it, another site replaced it. What is that site?

Still a bit of a frat-house feel to the site, but it's really active, especially the Eagles and Sixers threads.
Is that the forum which replaced backshegoes? Philaphans also had a schism about a decade ago after new management took over and phillysportscentral was formed. I can't seem to find that one either but see a lot of the folks I remember from there on the thatballsoutahere forum.
Yes "That Ball Is Outta Here", the "Scouty Friends" portion, replaced backshegoes when the Voxes got tired of the fighting and politics. That site initially split off of this one. Many posters here, including me, post both places.
I see. The phillysportscentral.com boards seem to have gotten shut down. From something on redit, it sounds like the owners likewise got tired with all of the political vitriol and simply pulled the plug on it. I did see a couple of old "faces" from there popping up in thatballsouttahere forum.
