I was just going to post that, but you beat me to it. He was one of growing up faves, with his raspy, bluesy voice. Playing his version of "I Shall Be Released" is a fitting song tribute as well.
I somehow missed this. No matter what you thought of him, James Traficant was a unique person.
Evidently there is a Hugh Hefner death hoax making the rounds.
Actor Edward Herrmann
He was one of those ubiquitous actors who managed to both be memorable and anonymous in almost everything that he appeared in. I never knew who he was in any of the films I saw him in, but I always remembered his performances.

Gratuitous attacks on his record, his policies, his son the Governor, etc., belong in the politics thread - where the rest of us don't have to see them.
If Cuomo's career had gone a different way, it would have been clearer which thread to post his death in.
