PHILLIES ANNOUNCE COACHING STAFF DECISIONS
The Phillies have invited six of the team’s seven major league coaches to return for the 2017 season, the club announced today.
Larry Bowa (bench), Rick Kranitz (bullpen), Bob McClure (pitching), John McLaren (catching), Mickey Morandini (first base) and Juan Samuel (third base) have all been asked to return for the 2017 season. Steve Henderson (hitting) will not have his contract renewed.
