Well andyb, we could have a debate about who is being arrogant and/or condescending here, but I'll pass.
I like to think that this board is for pretty much all who want to participate - that there is no special entitlement or privilege to "long term posters." That's why I occasionally rail about the use of "inside" jargon that, IMHO, makes this place less accessible to those who are not "long term posters."
Yes - I'm aware that most of our users don't take advantage of anything other than the Renegades Phorum. In my opinion, that's their loss. It's pretty common here to see posters asking questions that they could easily answer themselves, either using our links, or just Google. But it is what it is. We're not going to take town the Baseball Links, and I'll continue to try to maintain them; if people don't care or don't use them, that's OK with me.
It's one thread a month (or less in the off-season). I don't sticky it. If you don't find it useful, that's fine. Don't read it. If you find it somehow offensive or intrusive, go the bottom of the thread and mute it - you won't see it again. That's also fine.
