Eflinās chronic knee issues were why I wasnāt keen on signing him to anything other than an incentive based deal. The Rays took a risk there. Hopefully for them and Zach his knee will just need some rest.

I wouldn't mind getting Alfaro back as a AAA catcher and insurance for the MLB pair. he's a good defensive catcher who has shown power. I wonder what happened to his power after 2019? Looks like he dropped off a cliff in 2020.

Talk about a manager hanging a pitcher out to dry. I feel bad for Lively, everyone has bad games (maybe most of his are), but once a pitcher gives up double digit hits it isn't his fault after that.
