Dodgers sign Ezequiel Carrera--the guy we got rid of Ender Inciarte to make room for*--to a minor league contract.

*In all fairness, Inciarte didn't look terribly promising when the Phillies returned him to the Diamondbacks and he wasn't terribly impressive subsequently in AA that season. A light seemed to go on with him the following season though.

That is great news, he is a really likeable guy, I hope he does well. I hope to listen to him, he obviously has insight into the game, but no idea if he can translate that into talking about it (see Bill Russell, worst color commentator in the history of sports, going back to the Greeks).

Howard will debut in early March during ESPN’s coverage of spring training. He will regularly appear on Baseball Tonight, SportsCenter, Get Up!, ESPN Radio and other prominent ESPN platforms.
