It was nice to see two teams win their first NBA and NHL championships. The list of teams that still are waiting for their first championship in all four major sports is still pretty long.
Here are the teams by my calculations that have not won a championship by sport:
MLB - Rays, Mariners, Rangers, Brewers, Rockies, Padres
NFL* - Bills, Bengals, Browns, Texans, Jaguars, Titans, Lions, Vikings, Falcons, Panthers, Cardinals
- These are teams that have not won a Super Bowl, the Lions, Browns and Vikings won NFL Championships.
NBA* - Nets, Pacers, Hawks, Hornets, Magic, Timberwolves, Thunder, Jazz, Clippers, Suns, Kings, Grizzlies, Pelicans
*I didn't include the Wizards, because they won as the Washington Bullets. The Hawks won as the St. Louis Hawks, so I don't count that as I think it has to count for the city, and Atlanta has not won one).
NhL - Sabres, Panthers, Blue Jackets, Coyotes, Wild, Predators, Jets, Sharks, Kracken, Canucks
