MLB App on Samsung TV

As the MLB app on my iphone and Samsung tv are different, I'm going to assume it may be different across all platforms. Up until this year, the MLB app on my Samsung tv let me just arrow down and select the half inning I wanted to advance to or start at. Now its just one continuous bar with hash marks that you start the fast forward feature running and it seems you have to hit play like a game of skill and hope you hit it at the right time. Am i missing something? Is there actually an easier way to automatically jump to the half innings instead of the fast forward race bar?

Stay tuned for my next rant over why milb.tv is compelled to leave an hour of dead air on their feeds before the game starts.

No experience with the MLB app or a Samsung smart TV, but YouTubeTV has been rolling out changes to the live guide. Someone that is sharing my account has been updated, but I haven't even though we are both using NVIDIA Shield. The web versions are also different. In other words, it can be changed depending on platforms or accounts. Welcome to streaming?

EDIT: when I say sharing my account... YTTV allows 5 people to share your main account.

The app on my TV (FIre TV or Google TV) has that continuous bar rather than the inning select which is still on the web player. I have been liking the app on the TV though as I start the game an hour in and it is really easy to skip 10 seconds (between pitches) or 30 seconds (between batters). If you need to fast forward the inning slashes let you get close enough and there are no forced commercials so it is OK to miss early.

It is not perfect but I actually think it is much improved.
