Mainly injuries and promotions. Lesser prospects get promoted to fill spots so guys like Ranger Suarez can stay at the proper development levels. Kind of the same philosophy why a guy like Jose Antequera showed up at Reading this week. Thompson was promoted (and now Eflin), so LHV needed a starter. Waguespack was a veteran, lesser prospect who would be competent in the starting role even if it is a little beyond his development.

Nothing against Jay but he doesn't indicate that he has any evidence or source on that at all. Just random musing on his own.

None of these moves seems imminent. Randolph dropping down may be the most realistic but it is still pretty early and the cold weather is now over, so we'll get a better idea of how he fits there. Haseley should be in line for a Reading promotion if he has a good season. It is only OK so far. As for Moniak, he is surviving even if he is not playing well. I'd rather keep him in Clearwater too if he has major swing maintenance. None of these players has a lousy K rate so they are not completely overmatched.

Let Haseley earn a second half promotion and let the other players have a couple hundred PA before we start thinking about demotion. Prospects should play at their proper development level and all three of these guys are probably at that level now.
