Castillo with a decent outing after a couple of poor ones. He seems likely to be a slow mover unfortunately. Stats don't mean much in such limited size with a 17-year-old, of course, but not sure he has shown he is ready for Williamsport next season.

If miller can develop command and strengthen his secondary pitchers, the phillies may have something. A big lefty that throws in the mid 90's is not something you see in the 4th round very much.

He does seem like a steal (kind of like Ryan Howard). A guy that some thought might go late in the first round that had a bad year and fell out of favor. Now left-handers tend to dominate in the lower levels statistically, but dominating is better than pitching poorly. It is a good sign that they are looking for college starters with better stuff now than the series of Cal State Fullerton command guys that might be safer picks but also project as AAAA starters (like Eshelman). We can teach command to guys with stuff. We can't really teach stuff to guys with command.

Power is not a concern as he has that for days...if he can even develop an average hit tool he could still be a ML player.
