Was watching the game on MILB.TV and it appears he hurt himself on a pitch during the Gomez at bat (pretty sure it was the third pitch to Gomez). He ended up walking Gomez a couple of pitches later and threw a pitch to Lartigue and just stopped on the mound knowing he wasn’t right. He was removed right then.

Yeah, he supposedly has subpar stuff, all he does is dominate at every level, now that he's in AAA, at some point he starts becoming a prospect.

Ethan Evanko is another, overage at Clearwater but started in the GCL last year as an undrafted free agent. He may be in Reading soon the way he's pitching.

Austinfan, Jim Peyton at Phuture Phillies has just reported that Howard played in an intersquad game on Friday. "The most exciting event was Spencer Howard taking the mound. He retired the side on less than ten pitches, but continued to face batters until he reached his pitch limit. I watched the radar guns on most of his pitches. His fastball was 93-95 mph. They were almost all 95, I only saw 93 and 94 once each".
