Something to watch this year, Phillies completely revamped their minor league coaching, and they've been rotating players out of XST and Clearwater. Wonder if a lot of players are still making adjustments starting in ST?

Kind of thing that may play out over a few months.
To me the key every minor league season is the stretch from June to August, where players either step up or out.
That is, a hot start in April followed by a meh season is less promising than a slow start with a hot finish as a player adjusts.

They don't rotate their players in and out of XST. They make paper moves to have a larger roster at most levels and the players remain with their teams. With tandem starts and inning limits the official minor league rosters are just too small and MLB does not seem to care to stop these types of moves. The Phillies started doing this at a high rate a couple of years ago. The advent of 6-man rotations necessitated this.

Dohy got roughed up in his first AAA appearance. Eastman and LLovera with good starts. One of my favorite prospects, Darick Hall, with a HR and 5 RBIs. Moniak with a day off.

Luis Garcia had his first HR at Lakewood. Garcia will play the entire season as an 18 year old.

I'm starting to get itchy about moving Bohm to Clearwater. In any event, I am definitely enjoying his success. Somewhat interesting that the Phillies seem to have done well with 2 July 2 guys who had their contracts voided with their first team (Muzziotti and Gutierrez)
