Listi is tearing it up at Clearwater, given he's 24, need to promote him to Reading soon and find out if he's for real.
He's obviously a longshot at 24, but had a breakout season as a college senior and is continuing to hit in the lower minors - so why not see if he's a freak or just an older player dominating younger kids.

Hall is also hitting well, but they can wait until mid-Summer for his promotion

The Pigs have only lost two straight and are still 6-4 in their last ten. Believe it or not, they are only 1.5 games out of first.

The Claws are the slumping team, losers of four straight.

I meant that in the last two games the Pigs, who had been offensively very productive, have had their bats go quiet.

I watched a bit of Parkinson's game- he's got a pretty lively fastball, no radar gun readings available but I would guess 90-94 and from an Andy Pettite-like arm slot. Righties and lefties had a tough time with it. His command seemed to come and go depending on the hitter. I couldn't make out if he was throwing a curve or change up- and not in good way.
