I don't know...15-1 is humiliating, giving up lots of runs in the bottom of the 9th while leading twice is more ...frustrating. The teams and prospects played pretty well, the back end of the low-A bullpen, all likely to not make AAA ever, was awful.

I don't know. Blowing 3 run leads in the bottom of the last inning of both games in a doubleheader strikes me as little humiliating to the team. I know that "we" focus only on the prospects but I'm sure the team itself prefers to win the actual games.

It does seem that our slightly older pitchers at Lakewood are struggling more than usual. These are the 21 and 22-year-olds that are often college draftees in the middle rounds. James McArthur, Tyler McKay, Jhorday Mezquita, Robinson Martinez. Often these types of pitchers are very good in A ball but have trouble moving up the ladder.

On the bright side, some of the younger arms (Santos, Pipkin, Silva, Lindow) are hanging in there and one has to like Morales' K rate even if the results are poor so far. I think we have a lot of good pitching prospects there even if middle relief from the older prospects is mediocre. Youngest team in the league remember. Maybe they need to get older to help those younger prospects, but maybe it also does not matter too much if they are losing now. I suspect this team will get better as the season goes along.
