Jordan Viars and Hao Yu Lee each homered today also for FCL. Each has been pretty good of late after a somewhat slow start.
Viars has 11 K's and 10 walks...I hope this speaks to some plate discipline.

A number of players are finishing strong, bodes well for next season.It would be nice to see a few players "break out" and surprise, who was the last prospect to just blow through the system and make a ML splash?

Nola. The position player was supposed to be Kingery. The Phillies haven't been a blast-them-through-the-system organization, either from philosophy or lack of major talents.
Let's give Vierling some props.. He has actually been a difference maker for the parent team.I would play him in Left, if I were Joe. I haven't seen a weakness in his game, though I realize his minor league stats don't reflect this.
Seems Veirling was one of those guys screwed up by the development staff.
