How about that Christian McGowan getting the ball for the opening game of the playoffs! He has made a pretty good recovery from the surgery. Hope he keeps getting stronger.gm
His first pitch was 100 followed by an 89 mph slider. After that he backed down to “only” 95-97 mph. No clear third pitch but the other two look pretty good.
