The Phillies were a little bit older than average for the league but not overly so, especially because having 2 teams will always lead to slightly older squads since you are keeping players in the DSL a bit longer. The White team was close to league average age on the hitting side and about 0.6 years older than the league on the pitching side.
Which makes sense for a championships team that is led by prospects like Bergolla and Heredia, but anchored by pitchers that are 19 instead of 17 or 18.
I imagine Bergolla will make the league top 10 prospects list but that is because of the bonus. No idea if anyone else stood out that much to make a top 10 or 20 prospect list. We had 2 good teams this year that were not extraordinarily old - so all in all it was probably a good year for us even if there are not clearly identifiable pitching prospects yet.
