This is a decision the front office will have to make. Who do they want to retain? Who can they risk exposing to loss? Who do they just cut and move on? Clearly, they have though Walding has a future and in spite of his poor performance in very limited ML action this season, they may still see value in keeping him. All part of multiple decisions they will face.
