Non-Moniak/Haseley Threshers thoughts:

Darick Hall isn't hitting much for average, but the patience and power combo is there.

Mauricio Llovera is probably a bullpen guy when it's all said and done, but he isn't far behind Sixto in the fastball velo department. One to watch.

It seems like Jose Pujols has been around forever, but he's still 22 and not worth giving up on just yet. At least all the K's are being joined by some hits and homers so far.

Darick Hall just needs playing time. When you have both the power tool and strike zone judgment, you really need to play every day, every possible AB. He does seem to be the regular at CLW; I hope we see some contact improvement by the end of the season.

Why is Elniery Garcia rather than Suarez the Reading starter? He got pounded, by the way. Glad it wasn't Suarez giving up the runs, but is he hurt or something. He last pitched on the 16th, so this was his day.

De Los Santos with a very strong start for LV. Nice if we get some return for Freddy G. With respect to Garcia in Reading, I think they may be using an extra pitcher in the rotation.

tough to see about garcia. he has fallen pretty far. it's early but, maybe the stuff he was on helped him more than we thought. on another note, in the "one that got away" category, Biggio hit his 2nd home of the season and is hitting .300. Shame they couldn't get him away from the ND commitment.

I'm guessing he started the game really wild. He had 62 strikes out of 89 pitches, which is good, but still walked 3 guys in his almost 6 IP. The 3 HRs didn't help.
