i hope bohm's career isn't threatened by the nerve damage. on the positive side, as harry would say, how about that Christian Hernandez? 17 year old for the whole season, 6' 3" righty, quietly having a good season for the DSL Red team. keep it up. he should be on the Instructs roster.

Jay tweeted "he's supposedly close to a return" re: Bohm in a response to someone (not me!) who asked him about Bohm's timetable. Perhaps he did ask JJ about this but has not posted that segment of the interview.

Shortstop for the Pirates today was Ji-Hwan Bae, one of the international youngsters that the Braves had to surrender last winter...and a guy that I believe andyb was hoping the Phils would sign.

He batted leadoff and seems to be hitting decently enough but not sure about his defense...made 3 errors today. Seems like he would fit in well with the current big club.

Hey I want us to sign all the top unsigned international players out there. There are still several unsigned players on the current top 50 international list. The Orioles are the favorites to sign all the Mesa brothers. I am actually wondering about Mexico as something worth investing in late because there is a current ban on signing any Mexican prospects (because of all the kickbacks that happened last year).
