I really like what I’m seeing from Lakewood closer Daniel Harper. The eye test backs up the stats that says hitters are having a hard time with him. He was one of those raw high velo late round guys who is a bit older, but he’s commanding 96-97 mph, and it has a flat attack angle that make it look like it has life up in the zone. Mixes in a 94 mph 2 seamer and an 86 mph slider. The slider is good for high A but it probably needs more depth. He looks like a prime guy to add a splitter. The fastball velo, life, and command are all big league ready. The rest looks close.
