Thanks for this, Squire! It's going to be so hard to get used to CLW being low-A and Jersy Shore being High-A.
Four home games today! For whatever that's worth without a crowd, of course...
Medina is getting the opening day start for LHV. Not sure about Clearwater. Francisco Morales and Mick Abel both scheduled for tomorrow. I have never subscribed, but I guess MILB.com has all the Phillies teams except for Clearwater. The whole FSL (or whatever it is called these days) is mostly absent from the TV package.
Gosh I could go to a baseball game this week I guess, though tickets might be hard to come by. Some Oregon counties recently moved back to extreme risk, shutting fans out of soccer games (a questionable move given it's outdoors and attendance is still only 15%) but the Hillsboro Hops are in a county with better numbers. There will also be home games here almost every night of the season as the Vancouver team is using the stadium too.
A couple of years ago, Luis Garcia and Jhailyn Ortiz could have bought homes in Lakewood and flipped them for a nice profit after this season!
Seems like there are fans. First 2000 in Reading tonight get a fleece blanket.
Gunner Mayer rounds out the starters today for Clearwater. Likely everybody is using piggy-back starters though. Curious if they will also go to 6-man rotations since rosters are larger this year and everybody will have more stringent innings limit. That would effectively be a once every 7 day rotation like in college as all minor league series are 6-game series this year with Monday off.

Reading lineup. Not too overwhelming unfortunately.https://twitter.com/ReadingFightins/status/1389678532763205637/photo/1
You know, we never know who can break out, but it's even weirder with the lost season last year. It's really going to be an interesting minor league season, let's hope we have some really pleasant surprises.
IronPigs Lineup1 Jean Segura 2B2 Ronald Torreyes SS3 Mickey Moniak CF4 Austin Listi 3B5 Darick Hall 1B6 Rafael Marchan C7 Travis Janikowski RF8 Luke Williams LF9 Adonis Medina RHP

Now that Threshers lineup is much more interesting than the other lineups. Lots of prospects there. Rojas and Martin could be the two most exciting players to watch in the system. DJ Stewart batting 4th is a bit of a surprise given he jumped over some older prospects. Wonder if he has taken a step forward behind the scenes.
Arquimedes Gamboa with a leadoff HR for Reading
First career HR? Kidding...
LV goes ahead early 2-1 on a Luke Williams 2-run double.
Williams also threw out a guy at the plate in the previous half inning
Casey Martin, BB, Double in his 2 ABs
Medina drilled with a line drive; injury delay.
Lakewood 1-3 lineup of Rojas, Garcia and Martin is the most interesting part of the Phillies minor league system not named Abel. Beyond that is a whole lot of ‘meh’.
