Browser question (but still minor league related). When I click on the player in the rolling boxes link above it used to go to that player's MILB page. Now it does not though I see a link to that page highlighted when I hover over the name. Just wondering if anyone else has this and it is a browser issue like clearing the cache or ad blockers or something like that.

Clearly a failed signing though injury obviously a part of it here. He was 96+ before the injury and never got back to that. While the lack of physical projection was a caution when he was signed, this could also be as simple as a 16-year-old throwing really hard before his body was ready to do that.

I'm not sure what "used to" means. For what it's worth, this is what a link to a player's milb.com page looks like (and has since at least the beginning of March):

This is what the link on the box score page looks like:

The section "david-dahl-621311" is correct; the rest of it... well, it's a link to a mobile mlb.com site (thus the "m.mlb.com" part); on my desktop browser (Chrome), when I try to access http://m.mlb.com, it takes me to the non-moble mlb.com home page. Same thing happens on my phone (using Safari) - it takes me to a mobile presentation of mlb.com, but doesn't show the site address as m.mlb.com.

Given my overall opinion about the quality of the people maintaining the mlb.com web sites, I would expect this is a site programming error.

Same experience here. I loved clicking on the players' names in the box score and going directly to their MILB.com page. This year I am taken to a standard mlb.com landing page, whether I am on my phone or computer. When I hover, I can see an address/pathway, but invariably land up at mlb.com upon clicking.

Kind of annoying but at least it is not just me. Guessing they design these sites for mobile first but it is harder to look up stats or even box scores on mobile so wondering why they did this (or why the mobile site is so bad). It did take us to the page last year as I recall.

I just tested it on my phone - Went to philliesphans.com, opened the minor league thread from yesterday (so there are boxes...), clicked the link, scrolled down to the AAA box, clicked on "David Dahl"... and it took me to the mlb.com home page. It may have been "designed" for mobile, but it's not working on mobile either (in this test, I used Chrome for iOS). Baa...roken.

Go to this page, and click on the "Stats" links for the various affiliated clubs -- and if you find one of those links not working, let me know and I'll fix 'em!

I like using https://www.baseball-reference.com/ for stats at all levels. Their data base is user friendly (imo), free, and has a ton of stuff.

BBRef is always my go-to but I never think to use it for an entire minor league roster.

Granted. One of the results of that is that I almost never go to the affiliates' home pages. If I want to buy tickets, yeah, but pretty much never other than that.
