Aldegheri spiraling. Finally gave up a run last night. 6.2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 7 K. Looks like 92 pretty easy pitches.

It's a shame...he was once a rising prospect but giving up a run is a bridge too far for me....
What an awesome story he would be if he makes the big leagues!!
Athletic on Klassen:
So far, Reading and Clearwater are as expected, JS is a disappointment.
But it's early, much of a minor league season is about improvement, so if Bergolla looks overmatched in April, well, not a surprise, if he looks overmatched in July, uh on.
If Bergolla struggles the entire year and has to repeat a level it is kind of expected. That said, he is probably being exposed as just a utility infield prospect rather than a starter. SS defense is behind Rincon and Caba and offense may never be enough for 2B. He is just a tweener in that respect. Frankly staying back a year and getting stronger might be the thing he needs irrespective of how good his bat to ball skills are. He is going to need more strength to impact the baseball to be a real prospect.
