Carson DeMartini seems to be heating up now at Jersey Shore. This one was on the road, but probably out of any park.
Carson DeMartini absolutely unloads on this 3-run home run to dead center field that goes 432 feet … It’s the fourth homer of the season for the fourth-round pick DeMartini, who has 3 homers over his last 7 games with an OPS over 1.300[image or embed]— Mitch_Rupert ( @mitchrupert.bsky.social ) May 28, 2025 at 9:36 PM

The Athletic has some minor league notes today as well. Leading with Miller and Seth Johnson who seems to be adapting fairly well to his new role. Possible second half promotion. Interesting low minors name to watch is Titan Hayes. He is too old for Clearwater (college draftee last year, 23) but is sitting 97 as their closer. Jersey Shore will be a decent test for him at some point.
Griff McGarry getting a Rehab start for Clearwater tonight
2 perfect innings and 4 ks. His stuff was whistling, if a little imprecise. Big leaguers would have had trouble with that slider.
Owusu-Asiedu had two HRs. Last season he looked like a lost cause, coming around this season.
I have watched the games this season - the at bats by majority of the hitters has been great recently hence the winning streak. Owusu-Asiedu especially is a strong athlete and the talent is visible.
DSL Phillies preview from Matt
No minor league thread today.
OK start from Abel though lots of pitches in 4.2.
HRs from Miller, Tait, and Burkholder.
