This Dipre guy they brought over from the DSL Red Sox team seems to be their most consistent hitter. First HR today.
Unfortunately Dipre is turning 22 in early June. Ferrebus with a HR today also. Giussepe Velasquez rehab appearance after 2 TJ surgeries. An 8-7 FCL win though I think they were up 8-1 at one point. A win is a win.
And Reading wins 1-0 behind 30-year-old starter Will Crowe (3 no-hit innings) and 3 one-hit innings from Mitch Nuenborn and great relief.
Crowe threw a no hit inning when I saw him in Portland last week, but he gave up four runs.
For CLW, Escobar with three hits, Nori with 2 hits including a triple. 8-5 win.
Neuborn I think is an older Australian pitcher with a decent FB, slider and splitter.Pitched at Northern Iowa before returning to Australia.
