I usually look forward to milb.tv season, but as Clearwater doesn't have a broadcast, it's hard to get excited to pony up to watch Jack Perkins and Taylor Lehman.

He has pitched the 6th, 9th and the 12th, so while there is a chance Billy will pitch tonight, more likely tomorrow (the 15th) if the pattern holds.

Stott with a thoughtful AB that ended with a seeing eye single up the middle. O’Hoppe really crushed a double to the left center gap that would have left most stadiums but Wilmington plays big in cooler weather. Rott also stung one but the CF made a nice running grab

Perkins consistent 91-92 in the first.

Markwardt with a Two run triple here in the 4th. O’Hoppe gets him home on a SF.

O’Hoppe is a “rah-rah” guy by the way.

Perkins out in the 4th. Replaced with Blake Brown

Brown just struck a guy out 98-98-98

Brown was something. Fastball was all 97-98. Threw one 85 slider. Struck two out. Walked another who got thrown out stealing by O’Hoppe

Stott with another nice AB off a submariner lefty. Ended up smashing a single into RF. Got caught stealing though it looked close.

Dominic Pipkin coming in for the 5th

Pipkin’s arm is definitely live. Fastball consistently 96-97. Action is less effort than Brown. But he’s very wild tonight

And he just gave up a salami on the only hard hit ball of the inning
