Didn't know this when I typed it, but Hall is 3/3 with a homer tonight. OPS over 1.000 now with 12 HR. I think he's leading AAA among qualified players.

If we ever did have to shut Harper down I think Hall would get a chance in a platoon role. He is just a better hitter than Moniak at this point and with the DH and 1B there is no reason he could not platoon against RHP and not really affect Hoskins' playing time too much. There might be room for both Hall and Moniak at some point too as the team is carrying one too many pitchers now.
