De La Cruz was always raw and is still young enough to advance, though I would say he probably needs to get back to Jersey Shore in the second half of the year to get back on a prospect track.
He was certainly going to repeat the level last year, but now it is a year later and there is a whole new wave of prospects to compete with and one would hope that a raw player would develop some in the missed year or fall behind.
