Between 25 and 30 games into this year's minor league schedule for all teams, LV is playing the way older AAA teams are often expected to play, 4 games over .500 and fighting for a title. I would expect them to fade since players will get called up if there are MLB injuries, and there is really not a lot of help in Reading.
Reading is 4 games under .500 and actually over=performing most pre-season projections. The pitching has been pretty decent, although the hitting has been just as bad as feared.
Jersey Shore is the most disappointing team, with a lot of talent with high ceilings, but most of the players are playing closer to their floors. A team OPS of .593 is scary bad, even in the offense-depressing Blue-Claws home park. And the pitching is near the bottom of the league even with the park helping.
CLW has been good at 2 games over.500, but I'd still say they are a bit disappointing to this point. Some of the young position players need to get on a hot streak!
