Well, there's certainly a lot of truth to that, but we've still basically reset Kingery to 2018 (having never been to AAA at all) and Haseley to 2019. That's more than just an odd pandemic progression. t's hard to look at them as being a strength at the "top of the system," but rather, struggling major leaguers, both of whom were tipped to start for the Phillies (or at least share the same position) this year.
Moniak still a work in progress of course but his 2022 ceiling on a so-called contending team is still bench player, especially with his own manager expressing doubts about his CF-worthiness.
Do we really think there is something there with Randolph or has he just been at it so long that he's essentially a AAAA player now? Same could be true of Williams I suppose, but with more utility.
