Griff among the highlights this week. One news item is that Painter is scheduled to pitch Saturday after his week off.

McGarry and Ben Brown are two to watch at Jersey Shore, you only get so many 1st rd picks, hitting on players later in the draft gives you a huge edge. Given the age and contract situation of the starting staff, and the paucity of prospects at AAA and AA, we need a couple of these Jersey SPs to make a fast rise through the system the next couple years.

I think McGarry's stuff plays the best out of all of them- the only thing is Painter and Abel being 3-4 years younger at the same level.

First rehab outing for Nicoly Pina at FCL goes well. 1 clean inning with 2 Ks. Has not pitched since 2019 at GCL. Another potential high-90s reliever though he'll probably need to move fairly quickly since he is already 22 and rule 5 eligible at the end of the year. He won't be in danger of being lost this year of course, but next year he might if he pitches well.
